As a partner of Siam Premier, Apichart Chirabandhu specialises in the areas of corporate & commercial and property, including real estate development, applications for land and condominium development, and property-related tax planning.

Apichart's experience also extends to advising on stock, legal, financial institution and banking offences, as well as violations of intellectual property rights and the registration of such rights. With ten years experience in this area, he is a well known local specialist in the intellectual property field.

Some of Apichart's most recent experience has included advising a private company in bidding and establishing a power plant in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, including dealing with government authorities in relation to a power purchase agreement, and negotiating with a contractor from Norway in relation to the EPC contract. Apichart has also been involved in the development of the new international airport and advised Bangkok Aviation Fuel Services Public Company Limited in relation to facilities at the airport.

Other corporate work includes advising Air Andaman in reviewing the terms of its aircraft lease agreements and acting for Four Seasons Hotel in relation to review of its Hotel Management contracts and tax planning. Apichart has also advised JP Morgan in relation to employee termination.

Apichart's debt restructuring experience includes advising Adkinson Securities during a share acquisition, negotiating agreements to trade in a securities company affiliated to Banque Credit Agricole and drafting rehabilitation applications for Sino Thai Engineering and Construction during its rehabilitation process. Apichart was also part of the team working on drafting the restructuring agreement of Pranda Jewelry Limited and acted as company representative at creditor meetings.

Apichart's intellectual property experience includes advising OKI Systems (Thailand) in planning the arrest of counterfeiters, advising Microsoft during its investigation of the Thai Ministry of Education in relation to the use of illegal software and assisting Thai Boon Roong in filing an objection in defense of an application for trademark registration of a cigarette being distributed abroad.
