Linda joined the firm in 1991 and was admitted as a partner in both our Banking & Finance and Corporate Commercial groups in 2002.
After finishing her undergraduate degree at Chulalongkorn University with Honors Linda completed her Masters of Law at Melbourne University in Australia. During her Masters, she joined AAR Melbourne office to gain international experiences in corporate commercial law.
Linda has been practicing in the areas of commercial banking, finance companies and securities companies, drafting loan agreements and a variety of financial support agreements, debt restructuring, foreign investment, merger and acquisition, takeover, laws and regulations on listed companies, listing requirements and commercial contracts.
Some of Linda's recent transactional experience includes:
- advising The Thai Dairy Industry in relation to joint venture with Campina and also advised Campina in relation to investment in a joint venture with Thai Advance Food known as Betagen;
- advising Wanmani in a successful closing of sales of its business in luxurious international fashion brands to Para Group of Indonesia;
- advising GE Corporate Finance Services in relation to the acquisition of the non-performance asset portfolio of various Thai commercial banks;
- advising S Pack and Print on their IPO;
- advising TA Orange on Telecommunications Regulations issues in Asia; and
- advising Adkinson Securities on a share acquisition, this included negotiating agreements to trade in a securities company affiliated to Banque Credit Agricole
Linda also has vast experience preparing Loan Facility Agreements for large international and domestic clients such as the CDC Group and the Export-Import Bank of Thailand.
Linda regularly lecturers undergraduate and graduate students in Business and Investment Law at some of Thailand's most respected Universities. |
